Xceed Staffing is looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager for a Pre-IPO company in San Francisco.  This role will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of daily general accounting functions, coordination and tracking of monthly close processes, preparation and review of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations, development and maintenance of accounting systems, policies and procedures and coordination with internal and external auditors to ensure audit deliverable are met in a timely manner.

This position may also be involved in the order management, billing and software revenue recognition functions of the company.  This requires the ability to work well under pressure with multiple teams, including the Sales organization, to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints.

  • Perform financial consolidations for over 15 domestic and international subsidaries
  • Help in the development, implementation and enforcement of scalable, best-in-class accounting policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the end-to-end, timely and accurate financial reporting process at a high-growth, global company including: record compilation, reconciliation, month-end close, result analytics, internal and external reporting
  • Prepare and review journal entries and support to ensure recorded amounts are in line with generally accepted accounting principles, including revenue recognition
  • Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations
  • Analyze monthly financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audit requests, and aid in the research and analysis of audit issues raised
  • Support the development, documentation and testing of internal controls for key processes and balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Participate in ad-hoc technical accounting research and documentation
  • Over 10 years experience in a combination of public accounting and industry experience, preferably at a rapidly growing internet/tech company
  • CPA preferred
  • Bachelor degrees or higher in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Mandarin language skills would be a plus
  • Strong Excel skills and expertly use or have implemented ERP systems to manage internal and external account information (Netsuite experience a plus); you’ve managed the G/L, Fixed Assets, A/R, A/P, and Consolidations
