OVERVIEW
The Director of Finance and Accounting will oversee and lead all aspects of the Finance organization including accounting operations, inventory control, tax compliance, internal controls and compliance, and budgeting and forecasting for various entities. This is a hands-on position, working closely with a team of direct reports.

OVERVIEW
The Director of Finance and Accounting will oversee and lead all aspects of the Finance organization including accounting operations, inventory control, tax compliance, internal controls and compliance, and budgeting and forecasting for various entities. This is a hands-on position, working closely with a team of direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports which will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Care, Cost and Inventory, GL Accounting.
- Hands-on preparation and management of the month-end close for all entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Provide monthly forecast and lead budget process.
- Manage daily cash flow analysis.
- Multi-state tax compliance.
- Ensure accounting operations are compliant with GAAP.
- Provide ongoing assessment, recommendations and implementations of processes and internal controls as needed.
- Management of accounting ERP and POS system integration.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- B.S. in Accounting required, Master’s degree or CPA highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
- Superior hands-on management and mentorship skills.
- Strong accounting ERP knowledge, preferably with MS Dynamics.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
- Hospitality or Retail industry experience is highly preferred.
